From Seed to Shelter was founded in January 2025.Â
Ben Freeborn, Founder
Ben is driven by building safe spaces for vulnerable communities. He believes that people can only flourish when certain essentials are met - sustenance, shelter, security, relationships. His time spent with displaced communities left him worried about how lacking these could trap one in a mental box: 'survival mode'.
Prior to starting FSTS, Ben designed interventions for climate-vulnerable communities, studied Law, and served in the Singapore Army as a 2nd Lieutenant.

African Youth Integrated for Socio-Economic Development (AYISD)
AYISD is a refugee-led organisation supporting youth in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda, with an emphasis on livelihood support and environment protection.
